Have you ever walked on the Frog Pond in the Boston Public Gardens? I can definitely check that off my bucket list. I didn’t even know I had a bucket list, but consider it checked off! Also? I can’t believe I had 3 wintery sessions in January and did not lose a finger to frostbite. Thank you, new gloves! Amazon.com says they’re for “iPhone users”. Yeah, well, I have a Droid, and I say they’re also pretty darn awesome for photographers!
Kristen and David are getting married in November at the Commander’s Mansion, and I am so excited to be their photographer! These two were gracious enough to come out to play in the snow with me on a chilly January afternoon for engagement pictures, and we had so much fun. I would like to remind David, if he and Kristen ever schedule a photoshoot in the winter again, that throwing each other into the snow is best if done at the end of the session. They had me cracking up, and when we weren’t laughing, it was really lovely seeing the quiet affection they have for each other. They’re not only a lovely couple, but lovely individuals, too. I humbly present to you part one of two, in which we play in the snow (and walk on the Frog Pond).
Stay tuned for part two when we visit where they concluded their first date!
