There is sweetness in simplicity. Cecilia and Alvaro reminded me of that when I photographed their wedding the weekend before Thanksgiving. In an intimate ceremony surrounded by family and close friends, they exchanged vows at Lyon Park in Port Chester, NY. They are both very soft spoken, but very sincere and just crazy about each other. We also spent time before the ceremony at Crawford Park for a private first look and portraits. Alvaro was a bit shy, but every time he looked at Cecilia, his face lit up and I could tell he was so incredibly happy.
We started the day at their apartment, where Cecilia’s sisters and mom bustled around her to help her get ready, while the guys watched soccer in the other room. There was so much energy, yet Cecilia was calm, cool, collected, and gorgeous. Congratulations to you both. I wish you a lifetime of joy together!
