I’ve alluded to making some big changes this year, and I am very excited to announce the biggest of changes, due to arrive mid-September…
We are very excited to be on the journey towards parenthood, and are preparing to tackle the crazy challenges that it will bring. It’s equal parts terrifying and thrilling, but we’re ready to give it our best shot!
What this means for my photography…
I will be taking a break for the second half of 2012. I have 3 more weddings between now and June 2, and some adorable families to keep me busy through the first week or so of July, and then I’ll be focusing on getting our home ready, getting wicked pregnant, and excitedly welcoming our little one home and adjusting to our new family life through the holidays and into 2013.
I am undecided at this point as to whether or not I will be doing any portrait work in the fall. We’re going to see how things are going at home. If you’re interested in portraits anytime after mid-November, let me know and I will keep you posted. That seems like lightyears away!
In the meantime, I will have a lot of fun stuff to show you between now and July, so keep checking in! I am not going to inundate this blog with pregnancy posts, but if you want to follow my journey, I am sharing more on my personal blog which can be found by clicking (here). As far as newborn pictures once our munchkin arrives, that’s a whole different story!
