Sandy and Josh's Engagement Pictures, Trumbull, CT
Where, oh where, did fall go? Two weeks ago, I was photographing Sandy and Josh throwing leaves in the air and sitting under a tree that glowed like a lightbulb, and two days ago, it snowed. Well, sleeted. Close enough. I want more fall. I want more glowing trees and sunsets that make my commute home on I-95 look like a Monet painting through my windshield. Instead, it’s too dark to even see the leafless trees by the time I leave work. I love me some New England winter, but nothing compares to fall for me.
So to keep warm, I am sharing Sandy and Josh’s engagement session. These two had me at hello. I photographed them at Twin Brooks Park and the Historical Society of Trumbull on possibly the most perfect October afternoon. They are charming, sweet, and hilarious, with a little bit of mischief, I think. They laughed the whole time, and snuggled in close to one another, not needing much direction from me. I’m fine with that. I love working with couples who are so comfortable together, they barely notice the camera. They’re just happy to be together, and oblige me once in a while with a look my way. And when I had Sandy look at me for a shot, and her eyes nearly knocked me over! And Josh would just look at her and smile, one of those “I’m the luckiest guy alive” smiles.
These two will rock your socks off. They are getting married in May in Greenwich, CT, and I wish them nothing but happiness and laughter for years to come.

Cheers to you both! xoxo
